Engagement
Mid-March acrobatics
with blustery winds when
our dancing daffodils bloom,
do too.
Molting winter's camouflage
those tree branch beige shadows
and putty shades are replaced
As new feathers
are brightening
lightening
into gold.
And the promise of more.
